More than refinishing

Specialist care, start to finish.

Diamond Cut

We utilize state-of-the-art CNC diamond-cutting lathes capable of handling complex wheels up to 26 inches. Every wheel is carefully profiled to eliminate minor face damage, restore crisp 90-degree angle edges, and achieve a brilliant factory-fresh finish without compromising structural integrity.

Stripping

Unlike standard industry practices that take shortcuts, we believe in stripping every wheel entirely down to bare metal for ultimate coating adhesion and longevity. Our meticulous chemical immersion process completely removes old, degraded layers, ensuring a pristine foundation for your next finish.

Powder Coating vs Paint

Understanding the Difference. Choosing the Right Finish.

Both powder coating and paint can refresh alloy wheels, but they use different application and curing methods. The right option depends on the wheel, its existing finish, and the result you want.

What makes powder coating different from regular paint?

Powder coating

A dry powder is applied to a properly prepared surface and cured in an oven. The powder melts and forms a consistent coating. The wheel must be suitable for the preparation and curing process.

Paint

Liquid paint is applied in layers to a prepared surface, with curing between or after coats according to the chosen system. It can offer a broad range of colour and finish options and may suit certain repairs or wheel designs.

There is no single best finish for every wheel. We inspect the wheel and discuss the suitable process, finish options, and preparation before work begins.

Why choose powder coating?

  • Excellent resistance to chipping, scratching, and everyday wear when the correct system is selected.
  • Consistent, uniform coverage across suitable surfaces.
  • Available in gloss, satin, matte, and various textured finishes.
  • A durable finish with strong adhesion when preparation and curing are correctly controlled.
  • Efficient coating application with the potential to reduce solvent-related emissions compared with conventional solvent-based paint systems.

The short answer

There isn’t one finish for every wheel.

Wheel design, existing coatings, previous repairs and the condition of the alloy all matter. We’ll inspect the wheel, explain the trade-offs and recommend a suitable option before work begins. If a wheel has structural damage, safety comes first.
